JUDITH RISEMAN

RISEMAN--Judith I., formerly of Rye Brook, NY, St. Louis, MO and Philadelphia, PA passed away at Lantern Hill, New Providence, NJ on Sunday, February 6, 2022. She was 83 years old. Loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Judith was born in Brooklyn, NY and was raised in Bronx, NY. With her husband Milton, she raised her family in Rye Brook, NY; later moved to St. Louis, MO and then to Philadelphia, PA. She moved to New Providence, NJ after the passing of her husband in 2016. Judith was a graduate of the City College of New York with a Bachelor's degree in English. She was a loving friend and family member who loved politics, literature and a good glass of vodka. Daughter of Sam and Anita Schechtman, Judith was predeceased by her husband, Milton. She is survived by her son, Alex and his wife Lori Riseman; daughter, Samantha and her husband Collin Conoley; and grandchildren, Ariel, Sophia, Matthew, Declan, and Nola. Services will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at Bernheim Apter Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, 68 Old Short Hills Rd., Livingston, NJ.
