Valerie, John, and Mary: Judy (Kocevar)Surowiec sent me the notice of your mother. I have only wonderful, fun memories of you all being at your house when I was growing up. Your mom always made us feel welcome. In her quiet way she demonstrated the courage needed, caring for you as a single mom. I see that she contributed much to her community as she grew older in her volunteer work. I know you will miss her. Our condolences.

Valerie, Judy (Kocevar) sent me the notice of your mother's death. We were just talking about you and the time she served as secretary at Lew Wallace. It seems she lived a very long life. I am sorry for your loss.

Your mother was a wonderful lady. I will never forget our Jackson Street experiences. Our Girl Scout meetings and our rides to Lew Wallace.
I'm sorry I will not be able to make the funeral.
