Juliann Catherine "Judy" Eckmann

Eckmann, Juliann Judy Catherine unexpectedly passed away in Palm Coast, Florida on April 22, 2018. Judy is survived by her children Janet Marie Eckmann and her husband Frank Taylor; son William Thomas Eckmann, his wife Traci and Judy's granddaughter Kaitlen; Judy's sister Fran Molla and her husband, Andy Romer. She is also survived by her stepgrandchildren Amber Taylor and Cassie Taylor Mitchell along with her husband, Lee and children Taylor and Karis. She is also survived by niece Barbara Bruemer and her son, Adam Bieber. Judy was preceded in death by parents, Anthony and Julia Zavitsky and sisters Dorothy Breumer and Marita Zeveski. Judy was born on August 16th, 1943 in East St Louis, Illinois. Judy married and moved to Houston where she lived her working years and owned and operated Eckmann Insurance Agency. In 2005 Judy sold her agency and moved to Palm Coast Florida and those were truly her golden years. She made many close friends and did numerous volunteer work including the Flagler Library, Washington Oaks Park and a volunteer usher at both The News Journal Center and Flagler Auditorium. Judy also participated in numerous Bible study and Book clubs in the area. Judy's passion besides volunteering was family, friends, the beach, world and local travel and any sweet that can be consumed! Services: A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 1st at 10:30 a.m. at Parkview Baptist Church in Palm Coast with a reception to follow. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Judy's life. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Moffitt Cancer Center Foundation Patient Care at 12902 Magnolia Dr., Tampa, Florida 33612 in the name of Juliann (Judy) Eckmann.
