June McClellan Obituary
Her biggest pleasure in life was spending time with her family and friends. They were her world. She loved attending her grandchildren's events, cheering for her Phillies, and baking for her family.
June was a longtime member of St. John the Evangelist Church in Essington, PA. She was also a retired employee for the Interboro School District family and a part time employee for Springfield Psychological for the past 20 years.
Predeceased by her son, Samuel McClellan, in 1982. She leaves behind her adoring family; son, Andrew S. McClellan (Carolyn); daughter, Connie L. Allison (Jeffrey); brothers, John Kernaghan (Adrienne) and Jerry Kernaghan (Lorraine); grandchildren whom she adored, Gabrielle, Emily, Lindsay, Samuel, Maggie and Brody. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and her caring friends.
Visitation: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at St. John's Memorial Service: Following at 12:00 PM, at St. John's Evangelist Church, 16 W. 3rd St, Essington, PA on Thursday, October 18th.
Interment: Private
Contributions: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. John the Evangelist Church.

I'm so shocked and sad to hear about your mom. I remember many nights in high school and college where she opened up her home to all of us. She was always so sweet and caring. You will all be in my thoughts as you celebrate her life today.

Connie and family, so sorry for your loss! June was one of the sweetest ladies I have ever met, and Connie, you have inherited that. I remember when I interviewed at Interboro for my first job here and she was the secretary to the Assistant Superintendent. She was so kind telling me to relax, stay calm. Her kind spirit and gentle ways will be missed in a world that needs more people like her.

Gone too soon. You were a wonderful friend to my mother and to our family. Your parents were a big part of my childhood and great neighbors and I know my mother was excited when you moved in down the street.
