Uncle Frank, Auntie Lori & Patrick,
Not a day goes by that I don't think about you guys & pray for you. Words aren't adequate to say how deeply sorry I am for the loss of your wonderful son & brother. Only God knows the depths of pain & hurt you are feeling, & I pray you feel His loving embrace during this time and every day. May you find some kind of comfort from His promise in the Psalms...
"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." ~ Psalm 34:18
I miss Justin so much & will keep him in my heart forever! Will keep you guys always in my thoughts & prayers. Love you so much!

Dearest Lori, Frank and Patrick,
There are No Words that can be said that can address the depth of the pain and grief that you are experiencing right now.
Our hearts were broken and shattered (again)on May 7th when we came to the knowledge that Justin had died and left this earth. It is completely unbelievable!
My words are completely inadequate but I will share some of God's Word to us. " The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit". (Psalm 34:18).
"To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord". (II Cor 5:8)
The Word of the Lord.
I love you.
I will be here for you, now and always.
I will continually; daily lift each of you up in prayer.

To the Mahoney Family, There is little one can say at a time like this. But I'd like you to know that the Thursday nights at the PC where I first met Justin and his uncle will be cherished forever. I watched Justin change each week into the person he wanted to be. His anger was replaced with compassion and his love for his family was fierce. He told me once that all the little changes he made everyday made him feel good because he knew they were the right ones. He often made me laugh at is quirky outlook on things. Dear Mahoney Family (Lori, Frank and Patrick),
On behalf of the study abroad group from Konstanz, I am sending many thoughts and prayers to you from people all over the world, and I am deeply sorry for your loss. Your son was a part of our study abroad family and always spoke with such love and affinity for his family at home. Justin was a wonderful guy, always making everyone laugh, but I have to say that I appreciated it when Justin wasn't trying to impress anyone and just let his friends in to share all the love he had (which was there in abundance). Justin made every effort to check on me while I was going through chemotherapy, and I will never forget the impact he made on me. My thoughts and prayers are with you in this difficult time.

Joe McGovern & Family of Justin, My thoughts and prayer are with all of you. (I went to school with Joe) Although I don't know all of you, I share in this experience. I lost my oldest son suddenly at the age of 23yr.

Although we were never able to meet your wonderful family, we heard so much of you all.. Justin, although only with us here at Newport ER for a short time really was quite the light of our department.. The impressions, the jokes..the protections and support he gave all of us.. we truly were able to see the "real Justin".. Justin, Kathleen will remember forever the many occasions that you read to her. Those times are good memories and are indelibly etched into her memory. She absolutely loved it when you read to her.
