Kaye DeRoush Obituary

Kaye Braden DeRoush, 70, of Elizabethtown, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2022, at Kindred Hospital Louisville.

She was preceded in death by her husband and high school sweetheart, Steve DeRoush, and parents, Peter Braden Jr. and Helen Conner Braden.

She is survived by her daughter, Kimberley Berry Sanders; a sister, Lynn Braden; nephews. Josh Braden and Shean Barker; three great-nephews, four great-nieces, their children and numerous friends.

Kaye was a lifelong resident of Elizabethtown, a graduate of Elizabethtown High School and had retired from Curneal and Hignite Insurance. She was a longtime member of Severns Valley Baptist Church.

The family wishes to thank the amazing nurses, CNAs and staff at Kindred Hospital Louisville SAU for their patient and incredible care.

Cremation has been arranged. In an abundance of caution for those who might wish to attend, outdoor services will take place in the spring at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-Central. More information about the services will follow at a later date.

In lieu of flowers or other memorial gifts, it is asked that you consider volunteering your time or making a donation to the Hardin County Public Library or a local band boosters program, to honor Kaye's lifelong loves of reading and music.
