GREENVILLE — Kenneth Bolin of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2017, at the age of 58.
Kenny was born to parents James and Martha (June) Bolin on April 18, 1959, in Greenville, where he was raised and attended school. After completing school he went to work for the family business, Bolin Taxi Service. Following that, he created Bolin Construction which later became Bolin and Sons Construction and built several houses in the Greenville area. After getting out of the Construction business he purchased Bumpers Bar in Greenville that he owned and operated for several years. Kenny had a passion for pedal cars and had an extensive collection that lined his garage walls. Cars of any kind were always a passion of his, especially his 62 Chevy Impala convertible. In his spare time he enjoyed entering his cars into competitions at car shows and spending time with his family and friends.
Kenny is survived by his sons, Luke (Johnathan) and Zackary (Annie); his siblings, James (Tammy), Kathy (Mike) Wright, Gary (Katie), Christina (Jim) Everhart, and Michael; his mother, Martha (June) Bevans; and his three grandchildren, Henry, Oliver, and Penelope. Kenny is preceded in death by his father, James.
There will be a celebration of life gathering on Sunday, November 19, at the original Bumpers, 136 East Third Street, Greenville, from 12 to 4 p.m. Friends and family are welcome to attend to remember Kenny. In lieu of flowers we are accepting donations for the Neurological Center in Burkettsville. There will be a collection point at the party. Kenneth was funny and a good man. He built my parent's house and they're still there. We love that house, and are thankful for Kenny as a man as a builder for all the gatherings and visits we've had. All because Kenny built our house. Many thanks and condolences to the family and his especially his sons. Kenny was the best builder a person could hope for.

Very sorry to learn rather belatedly of the passing of Kenny. I was a builder and developer in this area for many years and Kenny volunteered on several occasions to give me an assist just because it was his nature to do so. A friendly and humorous guy who I always enjoyed and certainly will miss. And did he ever know how to put in a day of hard work!
