Kevin Dunlap Obituary
Peacefully and surrounded by the love of his family, Kevin Parker Dunlap, 34, of Saint Simons Island, Ga., passed away on Monday, Feb. 28, 2022. Parker was born on July 5, 1987, in Augusta, Ga., to Walter Lynn Dunlap Jr. and Linda Hahn Dunlap, and grew up in Brunswick, Ga.
Parker was a 2005 graduate of Brunswick High School and studied culinary arts at Johnson & Wales University. He was an accomplished chef and hardworking groundsman at Sea Palms Golf Club, and he loved to spend his downtime at the beach, experimenting in the kitchen or driving golf balls. He had a hearty, infectious laugh and saw the good in everyone he met. Well-respected by his co-workers, Parker had a strong work ethic and was always willing to go the extra mile.
Parker was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Walter and Rachel Dunlap.
Left to cherish Parker's many memories are his parents, Lynn and Linda Dunlap; a daughter, Raleigh Morris; his maternal grandparents, Donald and Sara Hahn; sisters, Jennifer Miller and Stacee Dunlap; nephew, Nathan Miller; nieces, Zoe Larsen and Edie Miller; and countless friends and extended family members
Visitation will be held from 3-5 p.m. on Saturday, March 5, 2022, with a celebration of life service to follow in the chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home, 3321 Glynn Ave., Brunswick, Ga., with the Rev. Chris Winford officiating. Parker's family invites you to join them as they celebrate the joy he spread and the lives he touched.

Parker and I were second cousins. My mother and his paternal grandmother were sisters. Which goes to say, his father and I are first cousins. I remember Parker looking just like his father...having a dark complexion, brown hair and eyes. Heaven has opened the gates to allow a family member of mine to enter. My prayers are being to Parker´s family. Lots of love to y´all!!
