Kewal Krishan Sharma, 78, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2013. Service: 10 a.m. Saturday in Moore Funeral Home Chapel. Private cremation service will follow. Kewal was born in India in January 1935 and earned master's degrees in education and psychology. He married Bimla in 1959 and then had three children, Jivesh, Poonam and Neena. In the late 1960s, the family moved to England where he worked as a college professor. In 1977, Kewal relocated his family to Fort Worth, where he started several successful businesses. Kewal was a generous, hardworking and strong-willed man whose life's passion was empowering others to succeed. He had a bold and adventurous spirit and knew how to celebrate life fully, often sharing his love for music, poetry and dance with those closest to him. He will be deeply missed by everyone. Kewal was preceded in death by his parents, Shiv Nath and Leela Wati Sharma. Survivors: Wife of 53 years, Bimla Sharma; son, Jivesh Sharma; daughters, Poonam Sharma and Neena Newberry; brothers, Darshan and Bhushan Sharma; sister, Kailash Sharma; and a large extended family.
