L. CAROLL REITZ, 76, passed away Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. Born in Porter Twp. near New Bethlehem, Pa., she and her husband were co-owners of Reitz Stores Inc. D.B.A. Scotts I.G.A. on East State Street and started their business in 1967. She then became a Board Member and Secretary with Scott's Food Stores, Inc. for 20 yrs. She was a member of Covenant United Methodist Church, Bonita Bay Country Club in Bonita Springs, Fla. and Sycamore Hills Country Club. She enjoyed her winters in Florida, reading and growing her beautiful flowers, she had a passion for making special occasions special with cards and letters. "She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her family." Surviving are her husband, William G. Reitz of Fort Wayne; daughters, Laurie L. (Steve) Grashoff of Fort Wayne, and Jean A. (Clint) Bookout of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Amanda (David) Keister, Beth (Jason) Mueller, Brittany (Aaron) Powell , Zachary (Liz) Clevenger, and Taylor Bookout; great-grandchildren, Alexia and Aiden Mueller, Dylan, Caleb and Logan Keister, and Tinsley Powell; brothers, Paul Wells of Colo., Dwight Wells of Troy, Ohio; and a sister, Shirley Grinder of New Bethlehem, Pa. She was preceded in death by her parents, Percy E. and Helen M. Wells; son, William G. Reitz Jr.; and brother, Donald Wells. Service is 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012 at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road with calling one hour prior. Pastor Karen Koelsch officiating. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012, at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road. Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne, Ind.
