Boswell, Lannie L. passed away on Nov. 21, 2015 at age 89.
A devoted husband, he was survived by his wife of 62 years, Doris Boswell; loving father of Carolyn Hobbs (Glenn), Joyce Krech (Richard), Bubba Boswell (Betsy), Barbara Shane (Carl); 9 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sister, Virginia Bennett (Robert) and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at the PHILLIPS-ROBINSON FUNERAL HOME, 2707 Gallatin Rd., Nashville, on Monday 4-7 PM with a Masonic Service at 6:30 PM. Mr. Boswell's funeral service will be held at the Franklin First United Methodist Church, 143 5th Ave. South, Franklin, on Tuesday at 1 PM with visitation beginning at 10 AM.
Mr. Boswell was a longtime successful businessman, a member of the Franklin First United Methodist Church and a member of the Al Menah Temple.
In lieu of flowers, donations are asked to be made to the Shriners Childrens Hospital in memory of Mr. Boswell.

Had the privledge of working for Mr. Boswell in the late 80's, still remember how well he treated people and loved his family. Always will appreciate him taking a chance on me, and allowing me to work for him while I was in college. Thoughts and continued prayers to the Boswell family. I was with his daughter Carolyn (?) when Mr Boswell passed. My husband was in the room next door in the ICU. I entered his room instead of my husband's & met his delightful daughter & got to hold his hand. Her beautiful genuine spirit must be a reflection of a great man. God bless the family at this time & thank you Lord for meeting this BEAUTIFUL lady. May he rest in peace in H.O.G Heaven.

Mr Boswell was a fine person who always had a smile. He raised a good, upstanding family and taught them the value of honesty and hard work. Many good memories and bike trips and lots of laughs. God bless you Gabby and thoughts and prayers to all the family.

Mr. Lannie was a fine man who was always good to us here at Ironwood Golf Course. He was always willing to help us in any way he could. I was blessed to do business with him. He always had a smile and I looked forward to seeing him every time he came to the course. I look forward to seeing him again in heaven. God bless all of you and may you be comforted with many wonderful memories and the knowledge that Mr. Lannie was a fine example of a good Christian businessman. Carry on in his memory and the example that he set for all of you.
