I was saddened to hear of the passing of Coach Brentnall. I have many football memories of coach during practice and school. It would seem that we also had one other thing in common, I am also dealing with Parkinson's. RIP coach, we'll meet up again someday .

It was sad to hear of Lee's passing. Our parents bought the Brentnall home on Waldron Terrace in Sloatsburg in the 1940's and Lee and family moved into a new home across the street. They were special neighbors. Over the years we heard many wonderful things about Lee and how much he meant to his students, colleagues and friends, and of course to his family. May years of cherished memories make this transition easier for you.

With deepest condolences to Elaine and the entire Brentnall family.

Coach B will be missed. He was certainly a class act and key role model for the students and athletes. He supported and encouraged generations in all sports. I was fortunate to be a student and athlete when Coach was at SHS, but came to know him and his family through our relationship with Joe and Kay Roman. RIP and may God's grace and peace embrace the family in their loss.

What a wonderful teacher and coach. I can still hear the speech he gave the '68 football team the Monday after a legendary party at Lloyd Jaeger's house, when much beer was consumed (I did not attend). "I like a glass of beer myself, " he said, and continued to point out the evils of alcohol.
RIP Coach.
