WHALEN--Lindsey Marie. Lindsey Marie Whalen, 27, of New York City, passed away unexpectedly on December 12th, 2021, after a brief illness. Lindsey was born and raised in Briarcliff Manor, New York. She was born to Philip J. Whalen and Frances Roback Whalen on October 20th, 1994. Lindsey graduated from the School of the Holy Child in Rye, New York, and was a graduate of The Catholic University of America, where she received her B.A. in Studio Art. Lindsey is survived by her loving parents and her beloved sister, Jenna Frances Whalen. Among her many joys in life, Lindsey loved coaching the local swim team and having adventures at Disney. She expressed her extraordinary creativity through crafting, decorating and entertaining, and was the co-founder of My Oh My Supply Co., a warm and witty online shop selling clothes and accessories for the modern millennial. Lindsey lived a vibrant and happy life and she could almost magically light up a room and make others feel welcome, seen and appreciated. Her puppy, Finley Jack (aka Phinley John) loved Lindsey like no other. Lindsey leaves behind her beloved grandmothers, aunts, uncles and her many cousins. Visitation will be held Friday, December 17th, 2021, at Frank E. Campbell Funeral Chapel 1076 Madison Avenue, New York, NY 10028 from 2:00pm--5:00pm and 6:00pm--8:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am on Saturday, December 18th, at The Church of St. Ignatius Loyola 980 Park Avenue, New York, NY 10022. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery 10 W. Stevens Avenue, Hawthorne, NY 10532.
