I had been thinking about Tot lately. Had not had a visit from her at the Longaberger Alumni House in a few years. She was always so energetic and caring. I - O, Tot! Leslie Smith, Stewardship Coordinator Alumni Scholars Program.

I was very saddened to learn of Mrs. Heinrichs' passing. She was an excellent role model and mentor to all of her students, and will be greatly missed. I will always remember her kindness and bright smile.

To my "Tot's" family. She took me under her wing and into her home. I remember the first time I saw her. I was in the teacher's lounge and I heard a voice describe how she feels when that band plays the Chimes. I turned around and laid eyes on Tot.

Only she would take in a pregnant woman and a 3-year old. She has been my friend and confidant for 42 years.

She provided the kitchen table where I learned about how to be a Mom.

I will miss her terribly. I loved her greatly.

Mrs. Heinrich,
You were the best home ec teacher, you taught me a lot that I still use. You even came to my house to watch me iron a shirt.
Thank you much

Mrs. Heinrichs, you were the best home ec teacher. The skills you taught me so long ago are still being used even today.
