Luanne Taylor Obituary
Luanne Spence Taylor, 94, passed away from an injury on Thursday, January 29th at the Army Retirement Community (ARC). A longtime resident of San Antonio, Luanne had been active in the San Antonio Junior League, the Pi Beta Phi sorority, the Society Of Daughters Of The United States Army, Bexar County Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the First Presbyterian Church and the San Antonio Genealogical Society. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Ben; her two brothers and their families: William Spence and Craig and Mary Jean Spence; her four children and their families: Kate Mellina and husband Michael of Waco, Sarah Luse and husband Dennis of Denver, Mary Englick and husband John of Denver and Grant Taylor of San Antonio along with seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at the ARC Cheever Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Saturday February 14th.
