Luom "Kim" Francisco

January 22, 1948 - February 19, 2025

Luom "Kim" Francisco, 77, of Lincoln, Neb., passed away due to complications from Influenza on February 19, 2025. Born Nguyen Thi Luom on January 22, 1948, in Vinh Long, Vietnam, she immigrated to the United States in 1973 with her husband William "Bill" Francisco, who was a GI in the Vietnam War.

Kim is survived by her three children, Sean (Kerri), Todd (Tonja), and Heather (Adam); and grandchildren, Payton, Zachary, Bryce, Tianna, Baylee, and Amelia in the United States. She is also survived by her brothers, sisters, and their families in Vietnam.

Kim enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, cooking, playing card games, fishing, and watching Asian dramas. She will be remembered for her sacrifice for her family by coming to the United States, and for sharing Vietnamese culture with those that surrounded her.

Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m., on Sunday, July 27, 2025, at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 South 14th Street, Lincoln, NE 68512, www.lincolnfh.com. Ashes will be repatriated to Vietnam to be buried.
