Over the many years, Margaret and I would compare recipes for "TRUE SHORTBREAD". After 100,000 miles of my exploration and world travel, her's was still the gold standard. A wonderful woman that will be greatly missed. Very sorry about your loss. But the world was a better place because of "Mum".

Mrs. Malm was my Girl Scout troop leader in the late 1960s, shortly after my parents & I moved here from the Bay Area. I saw her a few times over the past few years, taking a morning walk with Doris Murphy. I'd not seen her in years until about 4 years ago when I greeted Doris & Margaret asked "Do you remember me?" I asked if she was Mrs. Malm, and received a smile and a nod. I introduced her to my husband by saying "You remember me telling you about my Girl Scout leader who taught me how to make Scottish Shortbread? Well, this is her!" Wonderful, wonderful woman ... she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Mrs. Malm. Just saying her name puts a smile on my face. Such memories of Girl Scouts, fun and laughter. Her beautiful accent. My thoughts are with the family at this time. She will always be in my heart. Vannessa (Losh) Freeland Roseville, ca.

Margaret was a faithful and dedicated member of Valley Rose Court No. 158, Order of Amaranth. She was truly a treasure to know and love! She had an upbeat personality and freely shared her kindly warmth and caring concern with each of us. On behalf of Valley Rose Court, I extend our sincere condolences to Margaret's beloved family. Margaret will forever remain "Sweet in Our Memory."

I will miss my dear, sweet friend, Margaret. She was such a loving, kind person who never had a bad thing to say about anything or anyone. Bob was my co-worker way back when and we would go to lunch periodically after he retired and share stories about our lives and families. I felt blessed that Margaret wanted to carry on the tradition after Bob's passing. She spoke so proudly of her children and grandchildren and I am thankful to have spent time with her in her final days. Margaret's Scottish brogue will resonate in my memory for years to come. My deepest condolences to the Malm family for your loss.

It is with the deepest sorrow that our Family has for yours at this time. She was the most loving, warm, and kind person we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. The fondest memory Roger as a child, was her being the best nurse ever. Her sweet voice, her big heart, and the love she had for her family, was the closest in comparison to any angel here on earth. We will miss her as much as our own Mothers and for that we thank you for sharing her with us. May God Bless you all, as he did her.
