Marian Keeney Obituary
She had two siblings, Bette Wells Nickerson (deceased) and Robert Clark Wells (deceased) from Rancho Bernardo, California. Marian leaves three children, Robert Scott Keeney of Twin Falls, ID, Janice Sue Rice of Minden, NV, and Debra Ann Gonzales of San Diego, CA. She also leaves grandchildren James Berston, Brooke Guerrero, Elizabeth Grimm, Molly Bernard, Amy Rice, Allegra Frost, Jake Keeney, Scott and Tommy Robinson, Kelly Ridley and Tanner Gonzales.
Marian followed Charles ("Don") her husband into the Presbyterian Ministry, which led them into the Air Force Chaplaincy. Marian graduated from Wheaton College in 1947, and later got her Master's degree while living on Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri. During her elementary teaching career she taught in the dependent school kindergarten on Rhein Main Air Force Base, Germany, while on tour there. She then taught 16 years in the Poway School District, Poway, CA.
The memorial service will be held at the Mission Beach Women's Club, 840 Santa Clara Pl, San Diego, CA on Sunday Dec 8, 2019 at 1:00 PM.
Gifts can be made in her honor to the Coachella Valley Rescue Mission, 47470 Van Buren St, Indio, CA 92201, which Marian and Don helped start, grow, and worked countless hours in during their retirement.

Marian, you dear sweet gal, - You beat Irma Harr by just a tad! We hope you joined Don with a wide open heart and arms, as we still miss him in our lives!
Irma passed November 24 at the age of 95 and her service is on Dec 7 2019, a day before yours.
You're both in the arms of Jesus now!
We will remember your sweet and loving disposition, you're ability to share two residences during a year and be busy working for the Lord every where you went! Love and Hugs to all you all - that still will keep her and Don in your hearts!
