MARIANNE HENKE
Age 96, of Riverside, California, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 11, 2017, at RainCross of Riverside, where she had resided the last three years.
Marianne was born in 1920 in Sidney, OH, to the late Albert Mutschler and Mary Kingseed Mutschler. She resided in Dayton, OH until moving to Riverside, CA in 1963.
Marianne was a member of St. Catherine's Catholic Church for over 50 years and was active in her religious community. She worked for many years for Roy P. Denny as an office manager.
Marianne was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence W. Henke, Jr., daughter Ann Pangborn, siblings Richard Mutschler, Ruth Reineke, Albert Mutschler, Jr., and Patricia Harrigan.
She is survived by seven children, Lawrence W. III (Denise), Michael (Carol), Dan, James, Stephen, Lisa Henke Dersham (Robert), and Christopher (Anna), 15 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, sister Margie Niles and brother Larry (Helen) Mutschler. She has numerous nieces and nephews as well.
The family would like to thank Mary Genovese, Liz Kent, Sharron Theis, Sheila Jimenez and the members of our mother's neocatechumenate community for their dedication and constant support of our mother during the last years of her life.
Services are scheduled for Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at St. Catherine's Catholic Church, 7005 Brockton Ave,, Riverside, CA 92506. Viewing: 9:30 AM, Rosary 10 AM and Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM. A reception following the burial will be in the church hall.
