Martha Vinson Obituary
Evansville, Ind.
Martha "Joanne" Vinson, 76, passed away Monday, December 19, 2011 at Golden Living Center Woodlands.
Joanne was born in Lawrenceville, Illinois on February 22, 1935 to the late Melvin Wright and Margaret (Seed) Wright King.
Joanne graduated from Princeton High School. She retired from St. Mary's as a Pharmacy Technician and then enjoyed sitting with the elderly. She was a member of Christian Fellowship Church.
Joanne is survived by her daughter, Pam (Hunt) Chavez of Evansville, IN, son, Greg Hunt of Dallas, TX and their father, Don, sister, Mary Katherine Thompson (Wayne) of Wadesville, IN, brother, Billy Wright (Elizabeth) of Princeton, IN, grandchildren, Ashlee Kunkler (Nathan) of Charlestown, IN, Lauren Chavez (Everett) of Atlanta, GA and 3 great-grandchildren.
Joanne is preceded in death by her second husband, Melvin Vinson in 1992 and her parents.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, December 22, 2011 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Avenue Evansville, Indiana 47711. Burial will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may visit from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at Browning Funeral Home and from 9:00 AM until service time on Thursday.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 4770 Covert Avenue # 211 Evansville, IN 47714-5663.
