76, wife of Roger Lyon Jr. passed away peacefully April 18th on her 52nd wedding anniversary surrounded by her family. Mary Jane was raised in Blytheville Arkansas but spent most of her adult life in Memphis. In 2014 she moved to Richmond Virginia to be closer to her family. While living in Memphis she attended Independent Presbyterian Church. Mary Jane loved being a part of the King's Daughters and Sons. Mary Jane got married 1964. She is preceded in death by her parents, a brother David Seymore, and her sister Susie Seymore. Mary Jane is survived by her Husband, and two daughters Natalie Horne (Chris) and Camille Majors (Jay), 4 grandchildren Audrey and Abigail Horne, and Robert "Bobby" and Evelyn "Evie" Majors. A gathering will be held Monday, April 25 from 5:00 pm til 7:00 pm at Memphis Funeral home. The service will be Tuesday, April 26 at 10:00 am at Memphis Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, gifts in memory of Mary may be offered to King's Daughters and Sons Nursing Home (3568 Appling Rd, Bartlett, TN 38133)

Roger, so sorry to hear about Mary Jane. I know it has been a long haul for you and your family. Mary had to be special, because she was an Arkansas girl. I've got one of those (Jonesboro). I have missed seeing you and getting your updates at the Corps picnic. May God Bless and comfort you and your family during this difficult time. Mary spent her anniversary with you and the "King" this year and is forever safe now in his arms.
