Mary Reeves Obituary
Mooringsport - A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mary Anne Reeves, 81, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 17, 2018, at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. prior to the service.
Anne was born in Shreveport, LA on February 12, 1937, and passed away on November 9, 2018.
She was a talented artist and had owned and operated Shreveport Ceramics for many years. Anne, along with her husband, were former members of Waller Baptist Church and current members of First Baptist Church of Bossier. She was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ, and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great- grandmother who will be deeply missed!
Anne is preceded in death by her parents; and survived by her husband of 63 years, Mr. Don Reeves; daughter, Neale Talley and husband Jimmy; sons, Chip Reeves and wife Renee', Andy Reeves and wife Pam, and David Reeves and wife Rachel; seventeen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.

Our family loved Mrs Reeves so much. She gave my son a job in the ceramics shop on Saturdays when he was in High School. My mother shared many days with her at that shop making ceramics to sell and to enjoy at home.
Betty Grafton, Timothy Jones, Trellis Jones, ask that you all accept our condolences on the loss of your beautiful mother. She was such a sweet, christian lady to be with. Heaven is just getting so much sweeter every day.

My thoughts are with the family during this difficult time. I hope the promise at 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there is hope for our loved ones lost in death can be reassuring.
