MARY THOMPSON Obituary

THOMPSON, Mary Lou Of Sudbury, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 22nd at St. Patrick's Manor in Framingham after a brief illness. She was the daughter of David (Looney) and Kathryn Thompson and was survived by many cousins and friends. Mary Lou taught the third grade in Sudbury for the majority of her career, which began in Burlington, and later substituting in Maynard after her retirement. She is fondly remembered by her former students, many of whom have kept in touch over the years. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Duckett Funeral Home, 656 Boston Post Road, SUDBURY. Visitation at the Duckett-J.S. Waterman & Sons Home of Memorial Tribute will be Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at 9am, followed by a 10am Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 160 Concord Road, Sudbury. Burial immediately following. Donations in Mary Lou's memory may be made to the Framingham Animal Hospital, 1415 Edgell Road, Framingham, MA 01702. Ms Thompson was my third grade teacher at Horse Pond Road School. She was a positive influence on my life, one of the truly special teachers. My condolences to her friends and family.
