Mary Thompson Obituary

Mary Anne Thompson -MACON - Mary Anne Thompson, RN, CCRN, passed away on Friday at age 45. Funeral services will be held at 11A.M., Monday at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 753 College Street, Macon and will be officiated by the Rev. Mark Smith, the Rev. Camille Hegg and the Rev. Robert Gibson. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park. The family may be contacted at 154 Ten Knolls Drive, residence of Aljean and Bill Thompson and will receive friends there. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 753 College Street, Macon 31201; Theater Macon Endowment Fund, 438 Cherry Street, Macon 31201; Mt. De Sales Academy, 851 Orange Street, Macon 31201 or charity of choice. -Mary Anne was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Macon. She was the daughter of Guy Leonard Joslin, Jr. and the late Rose Marie Joslin of Macon. Mary Anne was a graduate of Macon College and Georgia State College and University and was a Registered Nurse for more than twenty years. She was a Medical Center of Central Georgia employee up until a few weeks of her death and was always a caregiver and a patient support person who gave her all to others. -Mary Anne is survived by her husband of over sixteen years, Mark Thompson. This ordained union produced one child, William Leonard Thompson. Other survivors include her father, Guy Joslin of Macon, GA; brother, Butch (Ann) Joslin of Valdosta, GA; and sister, Barbara Seager of McGraw, NY. -Visit www.mem.com to express tributes. -Snow's Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street has charge of arrangements.
