Uncle Matt was the kind of person everyone wanted to be around. He gave so much of his time, thoughts and love to everyone he knew. I have so many good memories I will cherish forever. My love and thoughts will be with you all at this hard time. Matt left an imprint on us all. May he rest in peace and his legacy live on in our memories and his wonderful boys.

No words can express the sadness that we are feeling for the entire Shelly family. Matt was a Lakeland Bronco coach for our son and he was an amazing one at that. Thoughts and prayers. May God bless you and comfort you knowing that he has earned his place in the Lord's Kingdom. May God wrap His loving arms around you and give you peace.

Uncle Matt showed how much he cared for his family by always challenging them to be the best they could be. I know he was that way with me, and I'm so horribly sad that he won't be here to help mold the next generation of our family. I love you guys and I'm so sad for our loss.

Matt was one of the kindest and sweetest persons I've ever met.
After living far away for some years and returning to the area, Matt approached me at a neighboring gathering, asking how my father was.
He remembered who I was and expressed genuine concern and care for my dad. Matt's sweetness is also evident in his sons, Connor and Jake.
I've never seen either boys without a smile on their face. Like Matt.

Matt was sweet and thoughtful.
After many years of living away, Matt came up to me at a neighboring gathering and asked how my dad was.
Matt remembered who I was and reached out with sincere concern and hope for what my father was going through.
Matts goodness is also evident in his 2 sons, Connor and Jake. They are also both kind and considerate.
I've never seen them without a smile. Like Matt.

My heart goes out to the Shelly family for your loss. Matt was a hard worker, a leader and quick witted entrepreneur -- always two steps ahead of everyone -- he was instrumental in helping others build successful careers with Information Technology. I have such vivid and fond memories of the gang at the Shelly house...euchre, fellowship, laughter, festivities, and the love. My thoughts and prayers are with you Pal and I wish you peace.
