Melanie Meadows Obituary

Melanie Elaine Meadows
May 24, 1997 – Aug. 31, 2025

Melanie Elaine Meadows, born May 24, 1997, was called to her heavenly home August 31, 2025. She was born to Charity Mathews in Fort Smith, Ark.
Melanie was a miracle child, and was said to only live one month. God had other plans. Her family had 28 precious years with her. Melanie was a light and joy to all she met. Her smile and sweet spirit blessed any who met her. She loved music, movies, and her family. She survived so many obstacles and illness, but then Jesus said, "Mel-Mel, Come on home."
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Jimmy Lee Meadows; and her grandparents, Tommy and Ann Mathews
She is survived by her parents, Charity and Skipper Mathews of the home; sisters, Chloe Robinson of Fort Smith, Loren Mathews of Fort Smith; and Tori and Caleb Phillips of Paris, Ark.; grandparents, Ron and Elaine White of Fort Smith; caregiver for seven years, Dominique Terceira; and many relatives and friends.
Funeral Service was 1 p.m. Thursday at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Jordon Oliver, Chad Robinson, Joel Stump, Max Stump, Logan Oliver and Billy Oliver.
