We bought our house from Melvin and Maxine back in 2005 in Whites Creek and have always loved living here. I think of them often, as they are very sweet people. I am so sorry for the loss. I know Melvin has been ill for a while and will enjoy being happy and healthy in Heaven, but I'm sure his family will miss him terribly. Our prayers are with them and we'll always feel like this house is a special place because the George's built it and loved it.

Just four years ago at Whites Creek Nazarene that we met Melvin and His wife Maxine. Our days with Melvin were not very many due to his illness, but we felt we knew him well from the loving reports of Maxine, his wife. She was such a great joy to my wife and me in our church, especially in Sunday School where Frances was the adult teacher. Our hearts reach out to all this family with great love and prayers for all of you in the loss of this godly man. Please know that we pray for you every day during this time of sorrow. We are the family of God and we love and care for you. Today there is rejoicing in heaven at the homegoing of this great man!
