I knew Merle back when we were kids, going to Sunnyside Baptist Church. She was always very kind, generous and smart. We grew up there together, along with her sister and my sister. I have fond memories of those years, along with her parents and my parents were friends also. So sorry to hear of her passing. She will truly be missed.

I worked with Merle at Christopher & Steel. She was the one that trained me and she was so much fun to work with. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family. RIP Merle you will be greatly missed.

Merle and I were good friends in high school, then as many do, life parts friends. I valued her ebullient personality, positive outlook, and caring for others. I regret that we didn't keep in touch. May God/Christ bless her, the Angels keep her close, and the Holy Trinity comfort you during your time of sorrow. I'll be praying.

Merle was the most wonderful person I have ever know. Never to quick to judge anyone. She loved everyone she met and my dear sister-in-law will be missed by me and my family. May my brother, maddy, and levy know we love them.

Merle was always fun, gracious, and a sincere friend. We met in high school and she was a bridesmaid in my wedding in 1973. I have not had the privilege to see her for many years but I will remember her fondly and with smiles. My condolences to her family and friends.

Jim, Levi, Madison - I also worked with your Mother at Eby Construction and went to church at First United Methodist. After that I knew how proud she was of her family as it grew, because I got beautiful pictures at Christmas for many years. Yes, that is Merle exactly, a most wonderful person. I had the privilege of working with Merle. If you ever needed anything she was right there to help you. She was the most caring and kind person and always had a smile on her face. She was so good with all the children at church and loved working with them. Merle will be missed. Peace be with you.

I had the privilege of growing up with Merle Ann and her sister. She was an adorably beautiful little girl, a spunky youngster and always full of life. She was a joy to be around and be with.
