Mike was a true mentor to me. Not just in business, but in life as well. I think the 12 year age difference was perfect, because at times it seems as if a college graduate was schooling a 4th grader.

Mike always had a place in my heart. Many years after leaving the area and his business as an employee, we rekindled our friendship through the internet and phone calls. There were times that I would be passing through the area and he and I would meet for a meal....share a few laughs...tell a few lies about how good we used to be and just be happy to share time with one another.

He was a unique man with unique ways that will be missed tremendously by all that knew him.

To the family of my friend Mike - I say that I hope time will replace tears with laughter, sadness with happy memories, and know that Mike was loved by so many.
