I wanna thank everyone for all the nice things they have written about my dad. He had a heart of gold, along with many other awesome qualities. He was one of a kind. As April said, missing u more every day. I love u dad. Ryan talks about u alot. He really misses u as everyone else does too.

I signed the memorial guestbook online after Mike passed, as I am friends with Tom. I just received an email from the Dignity Memorial website. I never had the pleasure of meeting Mike but heard many good (and a lot of funny) stories about Mike from Tom.
I am sure he is so proud of all of you for the care that you show your family.

Thinking of you today as always, and of the first holiday we will be facing this week, without you. I remember how you just kind of hung back quietly during holiday get-togethers, just enjoying watching your grand kids play and everyone chit chatting. Always so appreciative of the holiday dinner you ate. You and the guys enjoying some beers. It will not be the same, that is for sure, but I am going to try and keep the day as close to usual as possible because that is what you would want. You left us with so many memories of good times and corny jokes, and I am sure we will use that to help get us through. So Happy Thanksgiving, dad, I know you will be with us in spirit. This thanksgiving and always, I am grateful to have had you as my father and friend.

I'm a truly blessed man to have the privilege to say that Michael Wesolek is my uncle. The thought that I'll never hear on this Earth again “How it be B?” with that smile (and shoulder heave) you could see through a phone line, is almost too awful to bear. Not just because I'll never hear that again, but because the lovely person that was clever enough and loved enough to come up with such a thing to say to a 40 something year old nephew, is no longer around to say something as equally cool to someone else who might need it more.
My love to my cousins, and my uncles grandkids because I know there isn't anything in the world my uncle loved more.

In memory of Mike
From before the blizzard of 77 to the day he died he drove on. Mike was a staple at south buffalo cab. With the greatest compassion for his family,his chidren & grand children whom he cherished so much every single day! From all of us at south buffalo- our deepest sympathy, some could not make it that day at your house we are very sorry for that, your dad would put a smile on anyone of our faces, on anyone of our toughest days, it was our toughest too. Hey dad its me again. We had a service at my house yesterday to honor and remember you. There was so many people, it showed how many lives u touched, and how many people cared for u. Everyone had nothing but good things to say, and great memories of u. All of this is still so hard to process right now, and I miss u so damn much. U are the most loving, caring person I have ever known. I know that the amount of love I have for my beautiful wife and kids, is all thanks to u...u taught me how to love the way I do. Thank u for that. I love u with all my heart dad, and my heart aches every minute knowing that u are gone. It was so unexpected. I can't wait until I see u in heaven. I know u are in a happy place, and I know u are looking down on us. Rest in peace dad. I love u so much.

April, Amy, Mike & all of your children.. this is without a doubt one of the hardest things in life to go through, this I know for a fact. I also can tell you that holding onto memories, shareing them, crying and reaching out to others for help if needed WILL get you through. Your Dad / Grandpa will forever be with you and is always watching (even around leaving messages if you look carefully). I was around 16 when i first met mike. he was very quick witted and always tried to make people laugh. he didnt have a harmful bone his body. he was a very easy man to get along with. never seen him mad once. NEVER! I will always remember and miss the days of hangin in the city and making ultimate taco runs and how u use to call me "tiny". mike your a great guy and you will be missed and not forgotten. every 3/24 i personally will remember u as i have the same birthday as you. mike ill catch u on the other side. Saturday night has been playing over in my head and I am finding some comfort from the many things that you said to me. Although there were things in your life that did not go as you had planned, and other things that you wish you had done, you rarely let it get you down and never took a day, or anyone, for granted. You lived your life simply, and with much love for many. My memories are plentiful and I will use those to help me through these difficult days, months, years ahead. I was fourteen years old when i was "adopted" into your family...you always treated me as one of your own and i always loved you for that...all of my teenage drama, fights with my parents...i remember one night i was being overly dramatic, as i often was back then...it was like 1am...you took me for a ride in your car, you let me cry, complain and then gave me a be a big girl lecture..then played some great music to cheer me up. Even as an adult...you sat with me and helped me process my divorce, the loss of my mom, so much i could go on forever...i love you like a father, i miss you and my heart hurts so deeply that i have to wait until the end of my days to see you again. Mike was a character and was always good for a laugh. Most of all, he was a proud father and grandfather and loved that role! His family meant the world to him. My deepest sympathy to the Wesolek family. Mike will definitely be missed! RIP Mike!

Dear Mike Wesolek Family,
My memories take me back to when Mike was often seen riding his bicycle around Hamburg's Village fitted with "monkey handle bars and a banana seat." When I had the opportunity to spend the night over at the Wesolek's home, Mike was cracking Ricky and I up ALL night long with his jokes and his amusing antics! That was in the mid-1960's.
One afternoon, only a few years ago, the last time I saw Mike, I was parked and waiting in my car in the ER parking lot at Mercy Hospital. He spotted me first before I recognized him as he was standing beside the window of my car, surprising me and saying something hilarious to me as if he caught me doing something I shouldn't have been doing! Mike cracked me up at that point, as he always did, with the same good-natured wit that I am remembering him so well for.
I recall that Michael Wesolek had a big heart and TRULY was an example of "loving his neighbor as he loved himself!" My love goes out to you all during this time of remembrance of Mike!

My Brother Mike! I was truly blessed to have you in my life for 60 years. We shared a lifetime of memories. Your memory was phenomenal as you would remind me of funny things that I had long ago put in the recesses of my mind. Oh my gosh how you could make me laugh.
But it's your huge heart so full of love for your family that really defined you. April, Amy & Mike and their babies were the light of your life. I don't think I've ever seen a prouder parent than you! And rightfully so, you raised 3 wonderful children who love their children as much as you loved them. What a wonderful legacy!

Dear dad, I miss u so much. I have so many happy memories of you. Especially times in my garage when I would change the oil in your car, and we would just hang out there all night drinking some beers, talking, and repeatedly listening to our favorite song, fine fine day by tony Carey.
