Michael Woolery Obituary

Michael Wayne Woolery
69, passed away October 27, 2011 of natural causes at Kaiser, Fontana. He was born and resided in San Bernardino. He was a teacher for 22 years at San Bernardino Valley College. Michael graduated form Colton High School in 1960, then went to Southern Illinois University to obtain his Bachelors degree. He was also a heavy duty mechanic and Supervisor for Rialto School District, for 28 years. Affiliations included: Past President of Valley Prospectors of San Bernardino; Past President of Orange Belt Mineralogy Society, Past Patron of Order of the Eastern Star - Tri - Star Chapter and Gate City Chapter; Legend of Honor of De Molay which was one of his accomplishments he was most proud of. Also chairman of the Board of International order of Rainbow for Girls; Member of Scottish Right Temple and also a Shriner. Survivors include his wife,Barbara Woolery, brother, Bob Woolery (Shelley),niece Erin Ortega, nephew, Josh Woolery, great nieces; Kaya Ortega, Francesca Ortega, and Ava Ortega, great nephews, Mack Woolery and Ford Woolery. Visitation will be Wed. November 2, 2011 at 11:00 a.m., Inland Empire Lodge 260 S. Palm, Rialto Ca., 92376. Funeral services will be Wed. November 2, 2011, 12 noon at Inland Empire Lodge, followed by interment at Mt. View.. Please visit www.mtviewsanbernardino.com to offer condolences.

My condolences to the Woolery family. I knew Mike while playing little league with his brother Robert. After viewing the photo gallery it appears Mike had a wonder life and family. The Woolery family was and is a proud family and my prayers and thoughts go with you today.
