Michelle Barnes Obituary

GREENVILLE - Michelle Renee "Shelly" Barnes age 54, of Greenville passed away at 1:30 am Thursday, December 30, 2021, at Gem City Nursing Home in Dayton. Shelly was born October 1, 1967, in Greenville to the late Wayne & Moena (Peters) Barnes. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Matthew Barnes.

Shelly is survived by her faithful companion, Todd Sadler and family of Lynn, Indiana; son, Andrew Barnes of Greenville; special friends, Dave & Kathy Acton of Greenville and Jeanette Noggle of Greenville; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Shelly worked in child care. She was a member and Chaplain at the Greenville Eagles.

A celebration of Shelly's life will be held at 7:00 pm Thursday, January 6, 2022, at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
