ROSENTHAL, Milton
Milton Rosenthal, of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 19, 2015, surrounded by family. Milton was born on December 20, 1917 in Boston, MA; He was 97. He is survived by his beloved wife of 74 years, Ethel Horovitz Rosenthal; by his son Barry Rosenthal (Joan) of Washington, DC and his daughter Marjorie Rosenthal Silver (James) of Natick, MA; grandchildren Stephanie Rosenthal Meisler (Scott), Douglas Rosenthal, Carolyn Rosenthal, Lauren Baum, and Alison Daglow; and five great-grandchildren. Milton was born in Boston, MA, and attended Boston Latin School and the University of Vermont. After serving in World War II, he founded Allied Sportswear, where he manufactured men's slacks under the name of Milton Barry. Upon retirement, he and his wife moved to Boynton Beach, FL and later to La Posada in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. The family suggests that remembrances may be made in his memory to The Leukemia And Lymphoma Society, 3230 Commerce Place, Suite B, West Palm Beach, FL 33407. A memorial service celebrating Milton's life will be held at La Posada in April.
