Mitchell Fried Obituary

FRIED
Mitchell, 90, of New Milford, NJ for 60 years, died on Aug. 25, 2013. Born in Brooklyn, NY to the late Meyer and Esther Fried in 1923. He served his country during WWII in the US Army from 1942 to 1946. Mr. Fried worked as a liquer distributor for National Wine and Liquer in Newark, NJ for 43 years, retiring in 1988. He was a member of the Free and Accepted Masons in Bergen County.
Beloved husband of Marcia Fried (nee Nechin), cherished brother of Edith Winograd of Edison, NJ, Evelyn Solcov and Doris Gelman, both of Teaneck, NJ, loving father of Jeffrey Fried of Macon, GA, Randi Miller and her husband Kenneth of Newtown, CT, and Neil Fried of Plainfield, IL, devoted grandfather of eight and great-grandfather of two.
Relatives and friends are invited to services for Mr. Fried at 11 AM on Friday, August 30, 2013 at Beth El Cemetery, 735 Forest Ave., Paramus, NJ. Funeral arrangements in the care of Gutterman and Musicant Jewish Funeral Directors (201-489-3800). Donations may be made in Mr. Fried's memory to the charity of your choice.

Uncle Mitchell I will miss you a lot. I am very happy I was able to see you a few years ago at your New Milford home with my wife. You are always nice to me and loved hearing about my family. I will truly miss you.
