As a neighbor and friend Nancy was unsurpassed. She was the first to welcome my partner and I to the street when we moved in twenty-four years ago and she was a relentlessly upbeat, caring and interesting friend for all the years that followed. I will miss the way she always had something complimentary to say about others and myself. She always looked for the good in people. I will miss her wisdom; she was a vastly intelligent and observant person who shared her knowledge freely. Mostly I will miss her smile, night or day, good times or bad when I would see her across the street her face would light up and she would say “well hello dear”. She always made the day a little better, the world seem a little more gentile and our street seem like home. So long dear Nancy… God bless.

Nancy will be dearly missed. She was a kind friend and neighbor who lived a full life, positively impacting so many people, blessing them with her unbounded energy and generous nature. She was also a remarkable and dedicated civil servant, an example to be followed. My deep sympathy to her family and loved ones.

I first met Nancy when I moved into TST in 1999 and I thought she was a very kind and compassionate lady. We became friends over the years and I came to respect her immensely. She will be greatly missed. I offer my most sincere condolences to the family at this most difficult hour.
