Neal Nodvin Obituary
Family-Placed Death Notice
NODVIN, Neal Neal Louis Nodvin, 56, a native of Atlanta, passed away on December 17th, 2012, preceded by mother Rhoda Berliner, and brothers Jeffrey and Stephen Nodvin. Neal was a loving and devoted husband and father. He was also an invaluable friend to many. Neal is survived by his wife of 20 years, Melissa Stein Nodvin, daughters Sydnee and Abigail (Abby), and son Benjamin. Neal was President and CEO of LifeAlly. Prior to this, Neal served as Founder, Co-founder, CEO, President, COO, EVP and/or CFO of a number of high-growth companies. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at 2:30 pm at Arlington Memorial Park with Rabbi Ron Segal officiating. In lieu of flowers, charitable donations may be made to Covenant Community. Arrangements by Dressler's Jewish Funeral Care, Atlanta, GA (770) 451-4999.

So sorry for your loss. Only knew Mr. Nodvin from a business perspective. He was a strong leader, both professional but with a great personallity, and we looked forward to developing a working relationship with him and his company. He will be missed on many fronts. God bless!

Dear Melissa & family. I worked with Neal about 3 years ago on some technology items, over which time I had the opportunity to meet you all. one of my new years resolutions is to maintain better contact with past associates. I was in no way prepared for the article I was about to read. I am deeply saddened by your loss, as Neal's character & personality traits are irreplacable. I wish your family peace & comfort trough this time, as no words will heal these wounds as Time, and the togetherness of family will. Be good, and rest assured Neal is in a better place.

Dear Melissa and family,
My deepest sympathy. The service for Neal was so beautiful. I will miss his enthusiasm for every thing he did and that infectious laugh and smile he always had. Not a day passed at work that he didn't talk about his love for you and the children. I used to joke with Neal about how many exclamation points he used in emails and powerpoints, but that only matched his passion! He will be missed greatly!!

Melissa, Sydnee, Abby and Benjamin, I admired your husband/father so very much, for his entrepreneurial spirit, the love of his family, and his friendship. I first met him in 1993, when Jon Berger assigned me to work with Neal on a capital raise for his start up company. Although Jon definitely supported Neal by freely contributing our firm's resources, it was Neal and his determination that ultimately got that first venture funded. What an amazing person who simply had an idea and a professional investment firm backed him with millions in capital. Thereafter, Neal repeated that entreprenurial effort time after time. During that first company raise, we developed a great friendship and he was even one of my best men when I got married eight years later. I cannot express how much he loved his family and I sincerely believe that Neal unfortunately thought he was doing his utmost in taking care of his family when he left us. Rest assured, your husband and father did many good things for other people too. I will miss him dearly.

I too am shocked and saddened to hear of Neal's passing. Neal was active, well respected as a leader/visionary/entrepreneur and had many friends from his years in Charlotte. While I have not seen Neal for a number of years, I am proud to have called Neal a close friend and he will be missed by me and my family.
