Nelson Beaverson Obituary
He was born on Sept. 20, 1946, in Fort Wayne, Ind., to the late Nelson and Mary (Heckler) Beaverson.
He played for the Fort Wayne Komets Hockey team years ago. He was a Boy Scout leader for many years. Nelson was an avid music lover, who enjoyed playing music and singing karaoke.
He is survived by his wife, Andrea Savage; step-children, Deanna Savage, Leslie Levendeski, Tracy Smith, and James Vogt; grandson, Andrew Smith; Brothers Craig and Kent Beaverson; cousin, LaMar Livensparger. Nelson was also proceeded in passing by his cousin, Susan K. Livensparger.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2018, at Greenlawn Funeral Home 6750 Covington Road Fort Wayne, Ind., 46804, with visitation two hours prior.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Condolences may be left online at www.greenlawnfh.com.

Nelson was a wonderful neighbor on Coldwater Lake, he was a friendly person and supported me as President of the Canada Shores Lake Associton for 14 years. Rusty we are truly sorry for your loss. GOD gave us a great thing called a memory. Now you can always ,remember the happy times you both shared.
