Not sure what to say?

A dear friend that has touched our hearts and a true role model that has inspired us beyond words can describe. Dr. Matsakis will always be remembered with "Agape" and fond memories and will live in our hearts.
May he rest in peace. Our love to Theodora and her family.

Theodora, I am so sorry for your lose. I always looked forward to your family coming to the concerts. Please know that you are in my prayers.

Aphrodite, your father sounds to have been a wonderful, worthy human being (axios). I don't know you or your family, but I read about your father's passing thru a mutual friend and read of his accomplishments in the obituary. I am from the island of Cyprus so his participation in wanting the good of the island touched me. May his memory be everlasting and one day we will all meet again.. o Theos makarison....

Thanks for all the good times especially the trips to Greece, Cyprus and Australia. Dr.Kermit Kermit Westerfeld Class of 40

Dr. Aphrodite Matsakis, beloved daughter

This is a tribute to Nicholas Matsakis in a slightly different manner: To speak of the proof of this good father as evidenced in his 3 children. Though unable to meet Nick (almost a few times, but alas, not to be), to know his daughter Aphrodite as one of my dearest of friends is to know him also in ways. Sufficient to say that the gentle kindness and Christ-like qualities of Aphrodite, as influenced by her earthly father, to be a kind and humble reflection of Jesus, this is in reality is one...

Hands down, the best of the best.

Dr. Matsakis was a wonderful, gentle man and one of the earliest memories I have from outside my family. I still remember the small bucket of toys in the waiting room of his dental office and the photo of President Kennedy tacked up next to his instruments. He once told me he put it up the day the President died.

Dr. Nicholas Matsakis was a wonderful, generous man. Our family was fortunate to have known and been very close friends with him and his family. He will be greatly missed by everyone. He and my late husband Elias were like brothers. Nick has gone to be with the Lord.
My sympathy and condolences to his family. Jennie Vlanton
