Dad,
Today is monumental, as it's the fifth year anniversary of your passing. Even after all this time, I find myself thinking about you more and more. The tears that flow are a reminder of my love for you. This anniversary falls on the exact day of the week of your death, Saturday 1-25-20. I remember that whole week in detail as if it were yesterday. You entered the hospital on Monday, January 20th and passed in the wee hours of the morning on Saturday, January 25th. I hope you know we hang on to give you a chance, but in the end, respected your wishes. I hope that you are peaceful now and are basking in the afterglow of life on earth. Please keep bestowing your blessings upon us and let me know once in awhile that you are around me. I know you can hear me talk to you. I see so much of myself in you. A lot has happened since you've passed, I wonder what you'd say today? I can only imagine. Rest in eternal peace, until we see each other again, someday. Love, Lisa

Dad,
Although today is four years since your passing, it seems as though it were only yesterday. I think of you often- especially if I am around your neighborhood or hear a song or see something on TV that reminds me of you. Can you believe Donald Trump is running again for President this year? What does everyone up there think about that?
Anyway, the Superbowl is in a few weeks. I am sure you and Uncle will tune in. Please give everyone our love. It's hard down here, but I know you are shining your light down upon us. I know you are proud of us all, your three daughters. Thinking of you today and always-rest easy.
Love,

Dad,
Today is the 3rd anniversary of your passing. I think of you often, especially Saturday nights around 5:30. That's when I would arrive at your house to keep you company for a while and enjoy a meal together. Of course, the night wouldn't be complete without our "Family Feud" binges. I still cannot believe you are gone--you left us much too quickly. I only hope that you are finally happy and at peace--and enjoying being with Uncle and Grandma and Grandpa. When you can, please send down a sign so that I know this is the case. I know you are busy and all, but it would mean a lot. Love you, Lisa

Dad,
Two years ago today you left us and it hasn't been the same. I think of you daily and often observe how some of my thoughts and actions closely resembled yours. A part of you will live on in me forever. Hope you're watching Jeopardy up there, while keeping all the others in line-that would be exactly your way. Until we meet again, keep sending down your blessings and rejoice in the heavens.
Love always,
Lisa

Dad,
I can't believe it's been one year since you left us. There is not a day that goes by that you are not on my mind. What a year it has been. There is so much I wish I could tell you. I hope you are rejoicing beyond the clouds and finding comfort and happiness among all those you have been reunited with. Until we meet again, rest eternally and peacefully. Love Always, Lisa

I cannot begin to express how sorry I was to hear of your Father's passing. So many fond memories come to mind as I look back upon the blessing of having had Nick (and family) as our neighbor and friend for over 30 years. Throughout my life, as a child and an adult, it was Nick's friendship, kindness, and generosity that stand out most.
Nick may your soul find rest and peace in Our Lords loving embrace.
