Darby and James,
I am so saddened to hear about the passing of my dear friend and long time mentor, Pat Craig Corda. Pat welcomed me into the word of special events with open arms and for 30 years was mentor, advising me on my career path, introducing me to festival and event leaders around the world, and being like a second mom to me. I shared many occassions with her over the years, from her induction into the IFEA Hall of Fame to countless new years eve celebrations to helping with pre-game and halftime entertainment at the Gator Bowl. I loved your mom and will miss her dearly!

I am so sorry to hear of Pat's passing away. I have known her for years and have enjoyed her spirit. She was always friendly and eager to assist with any project, etc. No matter who was in charge she would help get the job done. As already stated, she did love the city of Jacksonville. I know she loved her work with the city and did not hesitate to let everyone know it. She will be remembered as a huge supported of the city. Everyone remember you will always, always have your wonderful memories of your time with Pat.

Patricia and I were school mates at Brookland-Cayce High School in West Columbia, SC. We shared the same last name (Brazell) but were not related. I have fond memories of those days..
My sincere condolences to her family and friends.

This dear lady needs to be formally recognized by the City Council and all Jaxsons; she breathed life into the new Jacksonville of the 1980s and 90s. What a magnificent legacy she created...but more beautiful is the one she created with her own family and loved ones. I am sorry for your loss, and our City truly has lost a gem. May she rest in peace and may you continue sharing her love with your family. God bless all.
