Pat brought Jack to so many of the Fort Worth Founder Lions Club meetings that I considered her an actual member. I will miss that and am sorry I am out of town and can not be there for her services.

She was always right in her assessments of problems and their solutions, because she had done her homework. I wish there could be more of her, but there will always be only one Pat Shannon.

Patty and family, we are so very sorry for the loss of your mother and our friend. Your mom and dad were such a loving couple. Pat and I will miss being with them at the many Camp Fire events we have shared with them. Our heartfelt sympathy and prayers are with you, Richard and your family at this time.

All of us here at American Home Care Solution have had the privilege of caring for the Shannons for the past few months. We have grown to love both Pat and Jack and will deeply miss Pat but we take peace in knowing she is not suffering and is now being cared for by the greatest of all. Love to the Shannon Family.

My family met Pat many years ago when we began attending the Veterans Day service on Camp Bowie Boulevard. While our parents are now gone, my sisters and I carry on the tradition. Thank you to Pat and her family for beginning the annual recognition of our veterans. Her presence and graciousness at these gatherings will be missed.

My Aunt Pat's strength, graciousness, and spirit of getting things done was an inspiration to many people more than just me.

Pat often guided her husband through our shared neighborhood. Pat was the eyes, and Jack was the funny bone. They'd both talk with pride of their kids and grandkids, and the vacations together, making memories. Her devotion and kindness were a great example to every neighbor who witnessed their love for one another.

Our dear neighbor for over 16 years who was the dearest, kindest, funniest and most patient person I know. May she rest in peace. My favorite memory is the many many times she and Jack sat lovingly in their swing. They were the epitome of a loving couple. My condolences to all their family.Pat will be deeply missed.
