I just found this obituary and am shocked. I never met Patrick but spoke to him at length on the phone back in 2002/2003 after purchasing the 1993 Saab convertible of which he was the original owner. I was trying to locate the parade cover panels that came new with the car but had been lost between his ownership and mine. I lived in Pittsburgh and he had just moved to California from New York to pursue the growth of his burgeoning music business. Unfortunately he had no recollection of the parade panels but expressed his fondness and nostalgia for the Saab, which I named Ingmar and still own. From now on, I will think of him when Ingmar and I are out cruising, with the wind blowing through what is left of my hair. Rest in Peace, Patrick.

So very sad to hear this news. Patrick was trying to place songs for me. He was a great character, intense and very funny. He was the kind of guy you don't forget! Obviously loved by all. Will miss him.

I first came upon this site a couple of weeks ago when I was trying to reach Patrick. I met Patrick in 2011 and knew him as a Music Supervisor for a couple of projects and also from the gym. We had dinner in 2012 and I believe I last saw him at the gym later that year. I am saddened to learn of his passing at such a young age.

This is so shocking to hear. I worked as an intern for Patrick in 2006. When I moved on to different ventures we lost touch, I decided to look up Patrick online after looking through some old resumes. I was very saddened to hear this. Would anybody be able to tell me what he passed from?

I was fortunate to know Patrick and spend time with him and his family. When I think about his life and light, I am reminded of the words of Psychologist Dr. Fritz Pearl. Dr. Pearl said, "There are two types of people in the world, those after whom you meet you feel better, and those after whom you meet you feel worse." Patrick was always the former type of person. We swam together on the AAU Gotham swim team in New York at age 7. As we grew up together and apart, we were even connected knowing our mother's were always in touch and them we'd pick up easily where ever we left off in Ny in LA didn't matter. Patrick's life will not go unforgotten by many who knew him and those he touched which was everywhere he went. Like an uncle, he held my son when he was just born who is now older then when I first met Patrick who was and always will be like a brother to me. My heart is with his family and friends who share in this grief. A huge life force has burned brightest and left our world too quickly.

I went to UW-Madison with Patrick and we were in the same fraternity, Sammys. A number of years ago Patrick was in Chicago for a music conference that we both were attending and got a chance to catch up over dinner.
