Patsy Lois "Mary Lou" Kegley Kennedy

MANSFIELD: Patsy Lois "Mary Lou" Kegley Kennedy, 81, of Mansfield, died Thursday afternoon, January 22, 2015 at Hospice House in Ashland after an extended illness.

Mrs. Kennedy was born May 11, 1933 in Vanceburg, KY to Orrville Abraham and Oma Belle (Herne) Kegley. She had lived in the Mansfield area for the past 63 years. She had worked at Montgomery Wards, but she was currently a stay at home mother, enjoying the pleasures of her grandchildren and her crafts.

She is survived by her one son, Mark Steven Kennedy; daughter and son-in-law, Becky and Ron Oswalt; grandchildren, Todd and Sarah Oswalt of Mansfield, Faith and Dakotah Shipman of Mansfield, and Joshua Kurtz of Michigan; siblings, Deloris Dunaway of Marietta, OH, Harold Kegley of Vanceburg, KY, and Norma Lee and Urk Esham of Sarasota, FL; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil E. Kennedy; parents; four brothers, Forest, Eugene, Charlie, and Gerald Dean Kegley; and sister, Frances McEldowney.

A private service will be held. Burial will take place in Mansfield Memorial Park at a later date.
