Paul Seery Obituary

Paul R. Seery, 81, of Canton, formerly of Norwood, died July 2, at home surrounded by his family. Born in Norwood, July 12, 1932, the son of the late Joseph and Mary (Donahue) Seery, he graduated from St. Catherine of Siena School and Norwood High School with the Class of 1950. He served in the Navy during the Korean conflict aboard the USS Fred T. Berry. Paul worked for W.R. Grace in Canton for over 30 years prior to his retirement in 1998. Paul was the beloved husband of Teresa (Puliafico) Seery; the loving father of Paul R. Seery Jr. of Hawaii, Kathleen Seery-Lee of Raynham, Maryanne and her husband William Dillon of Abington, Mark Seery and his wife Joann of Hawaii and Jacqueline Peters of California and Richard Peters of Foxboro; and the cherished grandfather of Cassandra, Billy, Bobby, Ryan, and Josh. Funeral services will be held Monday, July 7, at 8:30 a.m. at the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole St., Norwood, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 9:30 a.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 547 Washington St., Norwood. Burial will be private at a later date. Visiting hours will be held Sunday, July 6, from 3 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Teresa - Bruce Revman here.I just found out about this today. How I loved Paul - What a unique and endearing man and we had so much fun talking about the hole in one ring, At the turn and fairway franks.

I will forever miss his wit and wisdom, as he truly was the friendliest soul you could ever know.
