MORENO, Pete T.
In Sacramento on January 23, 2005. Age 71. Preceded in death by his son, Steven, Mr. Moreno is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Eloise. Beloved children, Peter, Jr., Rudy and his wife, Theresa, Toni and her husband, Craig, Margie and Rachel. Cherished grandchildren, Steven, Jr., Victoria, Lisa and her husband, Phi, Sr., Angel and her husband, Steve, Kylie and Ava. Three precious great grandchildren. Also survived by brothers, Sam and Luis, Jr. and his wife, Maria, one sister, Eleanor. Family and Friends are invited to call between the hours of 1-8 PM on Monday, January 31, 2005 and a recertation of the Holy Rosary at 6 PM at Harry A. Nauman & Son, 4041 Freeport Blvd., Sacramento. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, February 1, 2005 at 10:00 AM at St. Rose Catholic Church, 5961 Franklin Blvd., Sacramento. Burial to follow at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.

pete was such a wonderful man and will be greatly missed by his family.he was always so cute and funny and always took care of evoryone.it will be hard to go on with out him. our family is forever changed.we love you grandpa,and we miss you.love your grand kids, lisa & phi, phi jr., jason,angel & steve,aden,stevie,victoria,kylie,& ava & your kids,peter,rudy & teresa , steve,{ rest his sole}, toni & craig,rachel & tony, margie, darlene.and wife eloise

Pete was my first best friend when he lived on Hermosa Ave in So. Sacramento. We went to Pacific Elementary School and California Junior High School together. We also worked together in the hop fields during summer break. I remember once when Pete got caught in the conveyor belt and was being dragged up toward the threshers. Fortunately, I was on the oposite side of the belt and turned it off just in time. Pete wasn't hurt but we both had a good scare.
I've thought of Pete often over the many years since we last ran into each other. It was at a fight at the Memorial Auditorium. Friends sometimes drift apart.
