Born on April 4, 1945, passed away on November 28, 2025, at the age of 80. Beloved husband of Joan; cherished father of Emily (Mike), Wendy (Frank) and bonus dad to Sean; grandfather of Frankie, Ingrid, and Teddy; brother of David (late Judy), Christine (Paul); dear brother-in-law of Mary Jo and Don. Family and Friends may call Tuesday December 2, from 1-5 PM at the Dengler, Roberts, Perna Funeral Home, 8630 Transit Road, East Amherst. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 3, from St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 4007 Main Street Eggertsville, NY 14226 at 12 noon. Please assemble at church. Burial in Arlington National Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined, memorial contributions may be made in Peter's memory to Lord of Life Adult Day Care Program, 1025 Borden Road, Depew, NY 14043. Peter and I shared a house trailer for a while when I returned from Nam and was stationed at Ft Wolters, Texas. He showed me what class was like and was a big brother for me. Pete may you rest in peace my friend.

I had the honor and privilege to work and fly with Pete when we served with the 128th AHC Gunslingers.
He was truly a Brother to me and he will never be forgotten. I think often of the laughter (and sometimes terror) during my many, many flights with him.
