Age 83, of Pike, passed away peacefully on April 3, 2025 at his home.
He was born on September 16, 1941 in Eau Claire, WI, son of the late Clifford and Grace Richelieu Werth. Peter was a proud, Navy corpsman for twenty years. After leaving the service he went to work as a waste water treatment operator. He was a member of the Hunt-Stout American Legion Post 1670 in Pike. Peter had many hobbies. A few of which were, computer games, racing go carts, and Peter was an avid Formula 1 racing fan as well. He was also a member of the Society for Creative Anachronism; a worldwide medieval reenactment group.
Along with his parents, Peter is predeceased by his daughter, Loredana and a granddaughter, Brianna Werth.
He’s survived by his loving partner, Evelyn Hutz of Pike; his sons, Peter C. Werth Jr. of Virginia, Paul Werth of Virginia, Sean Werth of Virginia; 8 grandchildren; his former wife, Doris (John) Hawkins of Virginia.
A memorial mass with military honors for Peter will be held on June 7, 2025 at 11 AM at the Trinity Episcopal Church, 62 West Buffalo Street, Warsaw, NY.
