May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
I met Doug at Roy O'Brian Ford in 1965
my cousin,Norm Hoefler, told me about Doug and I bought my only new
car from Doug.
In the 70s when my daughter lived in Westminster, I visited Doug at his dealership.I always thought of
Doug as being a real gentleman.

My prayers and sympathy go out to the Spedding Family. You all were truly blessed to have such a wonderful man in your lives. He was such as kind hearted man who gave me the opportunity to grow with Douglas Nissan. I have worked there since before it was Douglas Nissan and have grown to love the people who work there. Thank you again, Mr. Spedding, for helping me succeed in my career.

I think of 1973 working at the Chevy store and seeing the younger Doug assemble a great spirited team of auto professionals and in the years to come he assisted many more in becoming successful car people. I personally benefitted from his hard work , knowledge and investments in his business for more than 16 combined years at his stores and still earn a good living today because of the knowledge I gained while in his employ.
Thank you Doug Senior.
