Rhonda Ann Ramos passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at the age of 60. She was born on June 6, 1963, in New Orleans, LA to Carmela Talamo Ramos and Gilbert T. Ramos Sr. and was a resident of Metairie, LA. She is survived by her loving children, who meant everything to her, Joseph Stanton III and Rebecca Stanton Schultz (Sam), her grandchildren, Benjamin Schultz, Katherine Schultz, and the absolute light of her world, James Schultz. Rhonda is also survived by both of her parents, her siblings, Gilbert T. Ramos Jr., Roxanne Ramos Guastella, and Donald Guastella, nieces and nephews, Christina Guastella Ledet (Justin), Donald Guastella Jr. (Priscilla), Gilbert Schiffer, Jordan Schiffer (Victoria), and Matthew Ramos as well as great-nieces and a great-nephew she loved so much, Camryn, Leah, and Grace Ledet, Katherine Schiffer, and Donald Guastella III. Rhonda was a person of kindness and unwavering love, but she was also a person of remarkable strength, which she displayed in her successful battle with cancer. She peacefully departed from this world, leaving behind a legacy of resilience and compassion that will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew her. A survivor in every sense of the word, Rhonda faced life's challenges with a remarkable spirit. Her journey through illness was a testament to her strength, inspiring all who witnessed her courage and determination. As a special education teacher, Rhonda poured her heart and soul into nurturing the minds and hearts of her students. Her dedication knew no bounds, and her belief in the potential of every individual was unwavering. She touched countless lives with her patience, understanding, and boundless empathy, earning her the title of one of the best in her field. But beyond her professional accomplishments, Rhonda will be remembered most for her profound love for her family. They were the light of her life and she cherished every moment spent with them. Her home was filled with warmth, laughter, and unconditional love, creating cherished memories that will endure through the generations. In every family gathering, Rhonda was the beloved camera person, capturing precious moments with her keen eye and tender heart. Behind the lens, she immortalized the joy, love, and togetherness that defined their gatherings, ensuring that these memories would be cherished for years to come. Rhonda's absence leaves a void that can never be filled, but her spirit will continue to guide and inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her. May her memory be a blessing and may her legacy of love and compassion continue to shine brightly in the lives of those she touched. Rest in peace, dear Rhonda. You will be deeply missed but your love will live on forever in our hearts.
