Not sure what to say?

In our thoughts. Thank you for raising such a wonderful son, I know he gets his kind heart and gentle ways from you. Glad I got to know you when I did. Rest peacefully in Gods glory.

Hi Dad- it's Bill,
It has been a year now since you passed away; hard to believe.
Ironically, a TV show was on tonight about a man that was in "a home" and he had magical powers. The person visiting him has known him for a long time. The visited person also looked similar to you, in some ways, at one time. Got me thinking about the "magical powers" you eminated when you were around most anyone. You were usually positive when all around may have been negative. Offered your expertise...

Thank you, Dad, for never once telling me there was anything I couldn't do because I was a girl. Thank you for letting me play with dolls AND tools. Thank you for teaching me to love animals. Thank you for loving me for who I am. Semper Fidelis Dad. I will miss you.

Dad and Jack, Dover, Mass circa 1977

Dick was a great teacher and a great mentor. I was fortunate enough to work for him when I got my first management job. Due to his guidance and model, I didn't crash and burn. Thank you Dick

I have so many memories of my family with Uncle Dick, Aunt Gerry, Bill, Rob & Susan! I'm blessed to have spent time with them. It's been a few years since we've all reunited...the love I felt yesterday was & is stronger than ever! Dick was an amazing person....kind, gentle, generous, honest, loving & real! Seeing Gerry, my 3 cousins, & meeting Bills' sons yesterday put a permanent smile in my heart! Bless you all....until we meet again! With Love!

I was honored to know you when I did and spend time with you and Gerry on ACK, you were a sweet gentleman and will never forget you.

Dick Scheide was a superb leader and a consummate gentleman. Working for him is a memory I will always cherish not only for his insights and personal warmth but also for his great talent for picking talent for his team. He assembled the most amazing cadre of thinkers, leaders and achievers at Bank of New England that I have ever had the pleasure to work with. His loyalty to his people and to the Bank of New England was fierce and he had an effective but gentle way of letting you know when you...

Dear Gerry: I was sorry to hear of Dick's passing. I will always remember him with much affection. He was the best boss and a good friend.
